A new course on Industrial Networks Protocols and IIoT was introduced by Sharda University in the academic session 2017-18 in the curriculum of M. Tech. (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) for two specializations, namely, Industrial Automation and Power System Engineering. The course has been taught by Prof. H.K. Verma every even semester since its introduction. The present e-monograph on Industrial Network Protocols and IIoT has been written by him on the basis of his notes for the course. Feedback of the students is used every year to update the monograph.
